More Aussies in action this morning:
- Phil Stockman pitched one inning of relief for 1 hit and 1 k in Atlanta's loss to the Reds
- Travis Blackley and Chris Snelling both appeared in Philadelphia's 9-5 loss to the Indians. Blackley was apparently 'wild', and Snelling got 1 RBI in 2 at bats, but also left 3 runners on. Of Blackley's outing, MLB.com said 'The best that can be said about Blackley's outing was that he got his work in. He was roughed up for five runs on four hits, with four walks and three strikeouts, in just 1 2/3 innings'. Seems there were some tough wind conditions at play, and Blackley may not have handled these well. He did manage a few strikeouts, and had a good first outing for the Phils, so he is still in contention for their 5th starter spot. See some fan comments about the game here
- Justin Huber struck out in his only at bat against the Brewers, as the Royals went down 8-2.
