Spring Training Update (4 Mar 08)

Here's a roundup of the news out of spring training games today:

• Grant Balfour pitched 1.1 innings in the Rays 7-5 win over the Tigers. For more details of his outing, see this page (see updates from 1.46pm onwards)
• Another not-so-great outing for Chris Snelling, who pinch hit in 1 at-bat for the Phillies today. He flew out.
• Craig Anderson pitched a dig in the Orioles' 4-4 tie with the Dodgers. He gave up 1 run off a single late in the game.
