What if there could be a perfect answer available in the next few days? More importantly, what if the Mets could fix what ails them with a former gem of the Mets' farm system, who left too early via trade? What if this player was 25, a catcher with experience at first base, spent this Spring working in left field, and batted right handed? And what if all this player cost the Mets was a waiver-wire pick up?
Would you do it? Because if you would, then you should know that Justin Huber of the Kansas City Royals is out of options and may not make the big league
club as a result of a numbers game with the depth chart.

Food for thought before the season...
Here is an interesting article coming out of New York. Looks like the Mets are looking for a catcher, and also perhaps some outfielders. This Mets blog reckons that Justin Huber could be the answer to their problems.
