Reports from Atlanta earlier this week said that Peter Moylan has agreed to a one year contract with the Braves. There are reports out today that Braves' closer Rafael Soriano is experiencing some irritation to his elbow, which he had surgery on in the off-season. If Soriano is injured for any period of time, it is possible that Moylan could land the spot as the Braves' closer. Combined with Moylan's reasonably good start to spring training, this could flag good things to come in 2008.
Meanwhile at the Royals, manager Trey Hillman has confirmed that Justin Huber is still in with a shot to crack the roster this year, saying he ahas been playing some good left field.
