Huber fighting hard for spot in Royals lineup

Joe Posnanski of the Kansas City Star has posted a great article about Justin Huber's spring training quest. Posnanski notes that the spots in the Royals' starting lineup are pretty much settled, but they don't leave much room for Justin Huber:

The roster, barring injuries, is more or less set. Huber is out of options,
meaning that the Royals cannot just send him back to the minor leagues. If he
does not crash his way onto the team, the Royals will have to put him on waivers

That's not such great news for Huber, who has had a good start to spring training after a frustrating season in the minors. However, he seems undaunted. Check out the comments for some good support for Huber. Hopefully he can keep it up through Spring and land a spot.
